Couldn’t find the place, host unresponsive, and no help from Booking.com. Negative: We never actually managed to stay at this property — it was impossible to find. The listing had no proper address, not even after full payment and confirmation. The host was completely unresponsive despite multiple messages and calls, and Booking.com itself couldn’t provide the correct location either. On the day of arrival, we were left with no place to go and had to book another apartment last minute just to have a roof over our heads. Only after that did the issue start getting resolved, and the refund process was slow and complicated. This experience showed how unreliable both the host and Booking.com can be when things go wrong. Be very careful with listings that show only a postcode and no street number — that’s a red flag. Incredible that Booking.com allows properties without a verifiable address to remain active on the platform.
