Do not trust “confirmed” on a booking
Positive: No able to enter, so nothing.
Negative: The company cancelled my booking 1 hour before check in.
No warning of cancellation, as I received only confirmed notifications (still have). I applied the pet filter to my search on booking.com, the property had 2 weeks to cancel, but left it until an hour before my arrival. It was extremely stressful, frustrating & expensive trying to find alternative accommodation at 3pm on a Friday.
